Other times, we're lucky enough to cover the entire series' alongside our authors. Today we're highlighting contemporary romance author, Len Webster. Len is the author of the Thirty-Eight, Sometimes Moments and Science of Unrequited series. Featuring her latest release, The Better Man!
The Importance of Being Uniformly Unique
Uniformity across a book series is so important for branding. Before you scratch your head at the publishing jargon, let us explain. If you look at your favorite series, you'll notice they all have a unifying theme, be it symbols, lettering, or models.
Len's books are a fantastic example of this. Her Sometimes Moments series features Polaroid photographs, while the Science of Unrequited use periodic table elements to help tie in the series. They're different enough but also similar enough, you know they belong together. Another thing we love about Len's books is her unique concepts. This gives her work as visually arresting covers as the beautiful stories she tells.
Branding doesn't just apply to book covers, however. An author's website pulls everything together, especially if the author is writing in multiple genres. These logos we designed for Len showcase the lovely elegance found between the lines of her heartfelt romances.

Naj here! I've been working with Len since 2015 (I think) and I am so glad she picked us for her covers, branding, swag, etc. We mesh so well creatively. And I've had so much fun with every concept she brought forward. Oh, there were times when the concept didn't work at all! But with a little teamwork and brainstorming, we always managed to figure out what's absolutely perfect for the book.
Our work relationship has grown into an amazing friendship. I can't imagine a year without Len being booked in for something. She's also the only author in our almost 10 years in the business who has dedicated a book to us as a team (that we know of). When Nada told me, I just wanted to sit in a corner and cry! <3 you loads, Len!

Hey y'all, Nada here! Compared to Naj's 10 years with Len, I've known that beauty for about 2-3 years now? We've worked on 3 books together, going on 4 by the end of this year, hopefully. Len has always been such a doll to work with. I literally have loads of fun putting her book together, and I adore making her vision into reality. I get a little sneak peek into her novels every now and then that make me stop and read a few paragraphs. Here's to working on more books together, Len! Love you loads! <3
