When we glance back at our portfolio, we're reminded how lucky we are to have worked with so many amazing authors and small presses. Today we're highlighting paranormal fantasy author, Nikki Jefford. Nikki writes fantastic fiction for mature teens and adults, including the Royal Conquest and Wolf Hollow series. Below we share some of her favorite covers, plus her newest release, Holiday Crown.
Branding
It’s important for authors to treat writing like a business. You aren’t just selling books, you’re selling yourself or as most people call it, your brand. While it’s not a requirement to use the same designer for all aspects of branding, it definitely helps give you a unified and professional consistency. Nikki does an excellent job branding her different series. While each cover fits with her author brand, each series has a unique look. This is important for your potential reader, to know the difference between what they'll be reading. And it certainly helps to have some fun eye candy like Nikki's series' feature below. ;)

My goodness, what can I say about working with Nikki? We've been working with each other since I think, 2011? And she's still with me! I thank her always for taking a chance on me when I was a baby designer. And taking me on her writing journey, whether it's for swag designs or book covers! I absolutely love working with Nikki. A year would not be complete if I didn't have at least one project with Nikki. Big hugs to her!
